King Space Void

I had the honor of painting the cover to Anthony Trevino's debut novella, "King Space Void" published by Portland based bizarro fiction curators Eraserhead Press. What is it about you ask?

"King Space Void has been devouring planets for centuries, moving through the galaxy like an engine of death. Its galactic genocide unstoppable and propelled forward by the unfortunate citizens inside that work ‘round the clock to keep it moving. That is until the day its defenses are breached and the system becomes compromised.  Now, a maintenance worker and a woman on a suicide mission must fight their way through the body of the organic planet-eating space ship where they’ll enter multiple dimensions, encounter body altering devices, and come face-to-face with the entity that controls the ship in order to save life in the universe from extinction. This dark and unsparing cosmic adventure is like if Jack Kirby and David Cronenberg met on the set of Event Horizon."

Crazy right? Crazy awesome. Anthony has always had a skill for weaving the bizarre and horrific together with a taste of refinement and literary swagger. I'm proud of his accomplishment, and honored to have contributed to the cover! Check out the video and image below.

I'm offering limited art print and book bundles in my shop right now. Pick one up, your wall and your brain will be equal parts excited and horrified.
